SASH Lab starts its Think Tank sessions

The department of Psychology at UL has a strong collaborative environment between researchers, encouraging us all to support each other in our research efforts. The department has an existing Think Tank for the Centre for Social Issues Research (CSI-R) that meets every week to discuss papers, methodological issues, and novel research in the area of social issues and social psychology.

In the spirit of this, SASH Lab has started up its own Think Tank to discuss similar topics related to research in health and wellbeing, meeting every fortnight. Regular members are lab director Dr Stephen Gallagher (Psychoneuroimmunology), Dr Ann-Marie Creaven (Psychophysiology), Dr Rachel Sumner (Psychoneuroimmunology), Brenda O'Connell (Positive Psychology), Eoin Brown (Psychophysiology), and Joanne Cantwell (Health Psychology). This great mix of disciplines and perspectives ensures very lively discussion, fostering a multidisciplinary environment for us all to learn and develop our skills. Hopefully this is just the beginning!
