Writing, writing, writing...

Roses are red,

Violets are blue,

No revisions needed,

I accept you!

Writing is something that we can sometimes have a love/hate relationship with - on the one hand, writing allows us to communicate our research to the audiences that matter - on the other, it's no fun getting stuck in a writing rut, and it can be hard to get out!

Hey, I just met you...

And this is crazy...

Here's my manuscript

Proofread it, maybe?

Last semester SASHLab held the second of our in-house scientific writing workshops, this time with special guests from the iTeach lab and also from MIC UL. This workshop was devoted to sharing writing tips, and having space to read good writing for the sake of writing, rather than for what the writing was about.

Our Autumn semester co-op student Sarah designed an infographic summarizing her key take-home messages from the workshop. You can view it here and feel free to tweet us your top writing tip @sashlab!
